The Big Move.

My one year visa was granted, my life packed into two suitcases and I boarded a one way flight to the other side of the world. Good byes are the worst bit about travelling, but England will always really be home. A few years ago I was given some liberating advice that has stuck with me and encouraged me to live my life while I'm young; 'Nothing is permanent'. Opportunities should be grabbed with both hands and adventures embraced, anything can change and who know's where you are going to end up in a year or two? I took a risk and moved to a new city, where I knew only one person and while it has come with its highs and lows, I have loved every bit of it. Waking up to see the sun rise on the Gold Coast from your bedroom is like a dream, spending weekends walking through rain forests to discover waterfalls is one of my favourite things and don't get me started on the cute animals!
